By accessing our website, participating in our programs, becoming a member, or engaging with any S.H.I.N.E. services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Purpose
S.H.I.N.E. is an organization dedicated to empowering women through innovation, networking, excellence, professional development, and community engagement. These Terms govern your participation, membership, and use of all S.H.I.N.E.-affiliated services and platforms.
2. Membership
2.1. Eligibility
Members must meet the criteria established by S.H.I.N.E. and comply with all membership guidelines.
2.2 Member Conduct
Members agree to:
• Uphold S.H.I.N.E.’s mission, values, and standards.
• Interact respectfully with all members, leaders, and guests.
• Avoid behavior that disrupts events or causes harm to the organization’s reputation.
S.H.I.N.E. reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violations of these Terms.
2.3 Fees & Payments
Membership fees, retreat payments, and event fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Late or non-payment may result in revoked access to events or suspension of membership benefits.
3. Events & Programs
3.1 Registration
Event registration is required prior to attendance. Spaces may be limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
3.2 Cancellations
S.H.I.N.E. reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any event. Registrants will be notified promptly if changes occur.
3.3 Participation Agreement
By attending S.H.I.N.E. events, you agree to:
• Follow event rules, facilitator instructions, and venue policies.
• Participate in a manner that is safe and respectful.
4. Media & Photography Release
By attending events or participating in S.H.I.N.E. activities, you grant permission for photos, videos, and audio recordings of you to be used for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes unless you provide written notice opting out prior to the event.
5. Website & Digital Use
5.1 Content Ownership
All logos, content, materials, and branding on S.H.I.N.E. platforms are the property of S.H.I.N.E. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
5.2 User Obligations
You agree not to misuse the website or engage in activities that compromise security or functionality.
6. Privacy
S.H.I.N.E. respects your privacy. Any personal information collected will be used solely for organizational purposes and will not be sold or shared without your consent, except as required by law.
7. Payments & Refunds
7.1 Payments
All service, event, and membership payments must be made through approved S.H.I.N.E. payment channels.
7.2 Refund Policy
All sales are final unless otherwise specified for a particular program or event. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of S.H.I.N.E. leadership.
8. Liability
S.H.I.N.E. is not liable for:
• Personal injury, loss, or damage occurring at events or during travel to events.
• Technical issues, interruptions, or inaccuracies on digital platforms.
• Actions of third-party vendors or venues.
Participants attend events and engage in S.H.I.N.E. activities at their own risk.
9. Code of Ethics
Members and participants agree to:
• Maintain confidentiality of any private or sensitive information shared within the group.
• Represent S.H.I.N.E. with professionalism and integrity.
• Avoid discrimination, harassment, or harmful behavior.
Violations may result in removal from events or termination of membership.
10. Changes to Terms
S.H.I.N.E. may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the website, and continued participation indicates acceptance.
